Dar ‘Gottem’ Gearnut — Void Ability Monster That Crushed Magic Attacks

I always like to play battle with strong monsters. When the team is powerful and the frontline is strong then confidence is also of a different level. Todays battle was of 33 mana so I thought that instead of routine strategy I should try something new.

Often we select more monsters but this time I decided that I will choose only the strongest monsters and make a low quantity but high quality team. Tried to catch a good combination with least monsters and must be strong team.

I chose only 4 monsters. The strategy was simple 2 tank and 2 support. But the tanks were selected such that they themselves were so strong that they did not need much support. Meaning a solid and strong frontline that could easily absorb the opponents attacks.

I was thinking that if I survived the start then the chances of winning would become very high. The same happened and my frontline was too strong that they founght till the end eliminating enemy units one by one.

My opponent selected 6 monsters. Normally more monsters means more attacks so there was a little tension. When the battle started, the very first monster performed better than my expectation. It alone eliminated 4 enemy monsters.

My favorite monster of todays battle was Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut. Its abilities really impressed me a lot. It is such a strong and durable monster that enemy attacks have very little effect. The most amazing moment came when it finished the opponents 2 remaining monsters in a single round.

If I talk about this monsters abilities, its biggest strength is its high health and strong defense. It stands on the frontline and protects the team. Also its Inspire ability makes melee attackers more powerful because of which the whole teams damage increases.

If the opponent uses magic attacks then because of the Void ability the damage becomes half which makes it even more dangerous. It is much stronger against magic attacks and the abilties work good here.

but just like other monsters it has also some weakness that needs extra care. The biggest weakness of this monster is its high mana cost. In low mana battles it is difficult to use it.

If the battle is of fast speed or special rules where tanks are not very effective then performance can become a little low. But in high mana battles this monster becomes a nightmare and a disaster.
