Buenas noches amigos, hoy me atreví a participar con una carta para el concurso de @Splinterlands que me gustó mucho, pero al mismo tiempo fue un desastre poder terminar este dibujo por diferentes motivos, me gusto mucho la rudeza que puedo percibir en esta carta además de tener fuego, cosa que me gusta ver pero no mucho pintar, el fuego es algo bastante complejo a veces. Quise recrearla guiándome mucho por los detalles de la imagen original, sin embargo elimine algunos elementos que al menos en mi dibujo se veía con mucho ruido a la vista, fue uno de los retos más difíciles que he tenido hasta ahora y sinceramente no estoy contenta con el resultado, pero el camino para llegar al dibujo completamente terminado fue lo peor, tengo 3 días intentando terminarlo pero siempre se iba la electricidad en la zona donde vivo, hoy aproveche que la situación estaba un poco mejor para completar todo lo más rápido posible, espero que les guste a pesar de todo jaja.

Good evening friends, today I dared to participate with a card for the @Splinterlands contest that I really liked, but at the same time it was a disaster to finish this drawing for different reasons, I really liked the rudeness that I can perceive in this card besides having fire, something that I like to see but not much to paint, fire is something quite complex sometimes.
I wanted to recreate it guiding me a lot by the details of the original image, however I eliminated some elements that at least in my drawing looked very noisy to the eye, it was one of the most difficult challenges I've had so far and honestly I'm not happy with the result, but the way to get to the drawing completely finished was the worst, I have 3 days trying to finish it but the electricity was always going out in the area where I live, today I took advantage that the situation was a little better to complete everything as quickly as possible, I hope you like it despite everything haha.

Proceso/Process

La elección de esta semana fue difícil, hay muchas cartas nuevas que me gustan y que quiero recrear, sin embargo, quise tomar este reto ya que tiene muchos tonos cálidos y estos son los que más difícil se me hacen manejar, tanto por que no me gustan estos colores, como por el ruido que me hace sentir estos tonos a la vista, hace unos días hice el boceto, luego elegí la paleta de colores para trabajar, los coloque en la piel agregando luces y sombras, después añadí una nueva capa donde empecé a mezclar los colores creando una piel mas suave, después pinte el cabello con amarillo.

This week's choice was difficult, there are many new cards that I like and that I want to recreate, however, I wanted to take this challenge because it has many warm tones and these are the most difficult for me to handle, both because I do not like these colors, and because of the noise that makes me feel these tones at sight, a few days ago I made the sketch, then I chose the palette of colors to work, I placed them on the skin adding lights and shadows, then I added a new layer where I started to mix the colors creating a softer skin, then I painted the hair with yellow.

Luego coloque los colores base en la ropa y los otros accesorios, sustrayendo estos colores de la carta original pero desaturándolos un poco, después empecé a detallar prenda por prenda agregando luces y sombras, lo mismo hice con el cabello, esta vez quería un acabado mas rustico en el cabello, simulando flamas, sentía que todo estaba muy saturado para mi gusto, asi que oscurecí un poco la imagen y luego añadí una capa de luces donde resalte algunos detalles del rostro y accesorios, el fondo quise mantenerlo sencillo en negro y luego añadir fuego, para terminar edite la imagen a mi gusto.

Then I placed the base colors on the clothes and the other accessories, subtracting these colors from the original card but desaturating them a little bit, then I started to detail garment by garment adding lights and shadows, the same I did with the hair, this time I wanted a more rustic finish on the hair, simulating flames, I felt everything was too saturated for my taste, so I darkened the image a little bit and then I added a layer of lights where I highlighted some details of the face and accessories, for the background I wanted to keep it simple in black and then add fire, to finish I edited the image to my taste.
