Chaos Reward Cards Can Still Mint Over 1 Billion DEC

In this video, I discuss how Chaos Legion reward cards are still a 1B+ liability when it comes to the amount of DEC they can mint. This is a follow up to when I looked at all reward cards and provides more accurate insights that accounts for gold foil cards as well as removing any that have already been burned.

The full amount comes out close to 1.6B with 1 billion representing the regular foil cards. To me that is the most important one as gold foils do have utility on land and I haven't seen them trading at or below their burn value as much as I have other reward cards.

As we get closer to the launch of Conclave Arcana, I think we may actually see a decent amount get burned further if DEC get closer to peg during that time. Whether players choose to dump the DEC on the market or redeem that DEC for CA packs remains to be seen, but with the volume that the new set can potentially do I believe that will eat through most of this DEC issue.

Regardless, it will be something that plagues us for the next 6 months and keep us from getting DEC to peg before the next set arrives.
