5 Biggest Takeaways From Matt's First Year As CEO (Part 2)
First off, I just want to congratulate @yabapmatt on completing his first year as Splinterlands CEO. We all know it was not an easy position to step into but myself and many other believe the state of the game is in a significantly better place as we round the corner into what will hopefully be a fun bull run in 2025.
I've broken these videos down into 2 parts. This first one was focused more on the philosophy and direction Matt has taken the project. This second part will offer the actual changes that made the most impact over this past year.
Here are the 5 biggest takeaways:
DEC Faucets closed, new Sinks added
Rewards Update (Glint Introduced)
Wild Season Permit (no long term extraction)
Voucher Shop
New Revenue Model
I wish Matt and the entire team the best in year 2!

Thanks for sharing! I listened to your video first but had a long driving trip so ended up listening to the full townhall as well 😁
I always feel more confident in splinterlands again when I have listened to townhalls, or podcasts like thepeoplesguild, you can't not get excited with all new cool and improved things
Sure! We are going in the right direction with most of the Dec faucets removed and with the wild pass making it difficult for bot farms to extract in the game.
I want to see more dec burning and we will back to flywheel in no time!
Same!
