Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Battlefield Story!

Hello to all Splinterlands warriors!

This is my first participation in a community engagement challenge, especially since it's all about telling the story of Battlegrounds. If it were about in-game mechanics or something else that I haven't even touched on yet because I'm a beginner, I probably wouldn't have been able to participate. So, I thank the Splinterlands team for keeping this challenge relatively easy. :)

Also, I apologise in advance if I'm mistaken about any abilities or powers, as I'm new here and just starting to learn. However, I'll only discuss the points I'm aware of, and I'll try to learn the rest from you.

For this challenge, I have specifically chosen one of my battles from today in which we had complete freedom regarding the element and the allocated mana for the battle was also decent but this ruleset Up to eleven was completely new for me because I had not played any battle with this ruleset before, so without going deep into its implications, I just understood from its definition that it will increase the retaliatory damages by 1 extra, so in such a situation, I will have to keep these things in mind while selecting the team.

Initially, I thought that retaliatory damage was only for melee attacks, but then in a battle, I saw such punishment damages happening even on magic attacks, so I had the idea that this problem would not be solved by not including melee attacks in the team, so I chose Underboss Fabino Archon from the Earth element, and along with heavily armored cards, I focused on abilities like heal and deflect, and to destroy enemy attacks, I also included cards with Taunt ability in the team. Overall, my team included tank melee and all other range attackers.

By the middle of the second round, half the enemy team had been wiped out with just one loss for my team. My second melee tank played a crucial role in this, as it was the most powerful card on the battleground after receiving +2 melee attack power from the Archon. However, all the other cards' attacks were fairly accurate, so you can see the state of the enemy team.

One strange thing I noticed was that when my card with the Taunt ability died, Poison was applied to the attacker and the card next to it, causing both cards to suffer -2 health at the start of each round. In that order, the above is the last enemy card to be hit by Poison. After this, I don't think there's any need to explain who would have won this battle.

With time, I am trying to have more knowledge of the game, and I find myself more familiar with some cards and rulesets that I regularly use in the game.

Like all the other battles, I thoroughly enjoyed this one, not only because I won, but also because I saw a new ruleset and the undeniable impact of the Poison power. I hope you enjoyed this story about one of my battles. If I've misunderstood any abilities, powers, or rulesets, I'm more than willing to correct them. I have completed 1.5 months in the game, and now things are looking good for me. In the beginning, it was really difficult for me to play, and that is common, and I hope with new people coming up in splinterlands.

I have to mention that in this game, there are so many elements. For example, different cards, different abilities. Rulesets and some exceptions to that. If you get to know all this. You can focus more on the game side, so that you can try to win more. Who does not like to win, and I also like to win more, but honestly, its not that easy, but its fine.
