OMG! @HiveFest kicks off tomorrow! It had skipped my mind until @teamhumble reminded me this afternoon. Now I have to go in and prepare. I had so many things I was going to do before this year's HiveFest. I was going to update my avatar, seen above, since I've put on a little bit more weight since last HiveFest lol. I was was going to buy a headset so as to experience it properly this time.

I guess it'll have to be 2D again this year. At least I have a higher performing computer this time, so I won't have to put up with the computer fan going crazy, as well as a large monitor for a more immersive experience.

I'll probably log in tonight just to defamiliarise myself with the keyboard controls. I tried connecting a PS3 gamepad but AltspaceVR isn't responding to it even though the computer recognises it.

I've cancelled all my other engagements tomorrow so I should be free to spend as much time as possible with you lot. If you spot me, do come over and say hello.

I just had a play around in Altspace and everything seems to be ok for me. I haven't received my "secret word" though. Nothing in my notifications.

I just changed nodes and now I can see it. Funny, I was on the "best" node on the benchmark test thing.

Hi Ade! Nice to meet you at Hivefest yesterday! It was a really cool experience being able to hang our with hivers and get to know some new people! Hope you enjoyed it!
