First steps in Golem Overlord
A couple of weeks ago, I told myself not to start any new game. Simply because I don't have the time to play them. Well, I didn't manage since I've started to play Golem Overlord two days ago.
All I learned in the game, I got it from @ph1102 who started the game on day 1. I believe it's still early to join the game so I invested the 30 swap.hive to get started.

Tokenomics don't look too good from my point of view, but with future developments, it can be tweaked and improved... We will see what happens...
I also see the tokenomics with some question marks but the flexibility of the Dev might allow to tweak things. It's quite promising in my opinion.
There are more and more games, this is good for the Hive ecosystem. I haven't tried this yet.

Another tactic may be to attack right after you claim. Why attacking after claiming? Because then, if you lose, you lose 10% of nothing. But generally, attacking before claiming is the more popular option (and I use it often too).
This works when you have a good defense that prevents others from attacking you. In my case my fortification is pretty weak and I get robbed quite often lol.
Don't upgrade Algorithm or Charging Station further for the time being, and upgrade Fortification and Faith so you won't get caught by the filters until you get up from the ground.
I feel you and I did the same: first onboarded in Terracore and now in Golem Overlord. Being an early adopter has its perks and in less than 1 week I got my return on the investment and from now on is free2play and play2earn. Probably this got me hooked, the idea of a new revenue stream once I got my investment back.

Tokenomic is a real problem, I have been telling people about it but it backfired to me.
All idle game token are heavily inflationary, cutting down or penalizing for not burning won't be a fix solution. It helps the pricing for a while, and later waterfall will show up again.
While many people ape-ing on a big volume, I think there will be a big fuss later when the waterfall starts. Atleast I have said what I believe its true. A game should be for fun, not taken as a safe haven of money making investment.
I share your view about tokenomics. As long as new users come to join the party, price might stay stable but in the long run there is only one way the token value can go :-)

Yea, the attacking is kind of bad when you start late. Getting your fortification up is definitely something you have to do. I started on Day 1 so I already got back my initial investment and your going to want to burn/stake over 75% of your claimed PART to make sure you get all your PART. It took some time to get used to but I didn't get attacked too much because I increased my fortification early.

That's the first thing I did. Since I started late, I invested to build some nice fortifications. Hope it will prevent this attacking activity lol
New games are always coming out on Hive given not enough time to catch up with playing most of them. Put this one is an idle game so I guess it wouldn't be that time consuming. Good play :)
Yes, it's played quite quickly. For me it's twice a day click some buttons. So I can manage :-)
I have avoided both Terracore and Golemlord specifically because of the Tokenomics of these games. I'm afraid lots of people are hopping on because they see $$$ and while the prices look great now, it is all set for an inevitable crash.
I could be wrong. Who knows.
Well, the tokenomics structure is built in a way that at the moment can have only one direction. However, the dev that built this game is pretty amazing and I think he might create enough development to create new use cases for the token and make the game more complex.
