The Market Can't Stay Irrelevant for as Long as I Can Stay Sane and Consistent
"We've all had plenty of time to wind down, kick back and de-stress for a bit but its now time to buckle back into the drivers seat and start paying attention again". Hmmm, this guy might be right, you know...
It feels like the bear market started decades ago and the sentiment of the masses is nowhere near hope or confidence for a rebound any time soon, but what if the rebound is here, what if it is actually time for the bears to go hibernate now? What if...
Past bear markets have offered us the opportunity to buy BTC at a bit over 80% of a discount from its bull market peaks, this pattern has happened two times in a row, but this time seems to have been a bit different. We had BTC correct in quite a manner during this bear market as well, but not as low as most of us would expect it to go.
Altcoins have painted over 80% corrections across the board but we also had exceptions such BNB and ETH... These two, and probably a few others as well didn't repeat the past bear market patterns(over 90% corrections). HIVE kind of went all the way down from the peak, but this was a buying opportunity for whoever was into adding more.
"Dogecoin is just made-up meme money with an uncapped supply." What about USD, EUR, JPY, etc?
Dogecoin is a joke coin, Shibainu falls in the same category and probably 90% of the crypto projects are having close to zero utility, but that doesn't mean they'll all die soon. No sir, the next bull market which might be probably less than a year away will once again resurrect every shitcoin out there and make some of their holders rich again cuz speculation and manipulation still thrive in crypto.
Did you know that four years of smoking 1 pack of cigarettes a day from 2018 to 2020 would have bought someone living in Romania 21 $ETH if that smoker would have decided to quit at the beginning of 2028 and buy ETH every month with smoking money? I didn't know that either but found out about it from someone on Twitter a few minutes ago ;).
What's the takeaway there? Well, smoking kills and crypto makes you rich, but do you really have to buy ETH or BTC to get rich in crypto? Not necessarily... If you look at the all-time DOGE chart you will notice that often times DOGE was the party starter for altcoin seasons. Yep, the joke coin can make you a lot of money.
I guess you knew that by now.
It could have made me $400,000 in less than one year had I held to the 566,000 DOGE I once owned. That didn't happen, though, and I got no one to blame. Shitcoins like DOGE, SHIB, and other meme coins such as SUZUME(caugh @trumpman) are overperforming the market right now.
It's true that BTC has had a significant rebound as well, ETH is also doing good while HIVE is kind of pathetic in recovering :), but some shitcoins are really having their own party. Hence, I bought some shitcoins today. I follow quite some "meme accounts" on Twitter and these individuals are shilling all sorts of crap coins for a while, but I have not bought into their shilling so far.
I've fallen for the temptation though and bought $560 worth of shitcoins today. I actually divided that amount between SHIB and WOO. I don't see these as an investment for years ahead, I see them as a bet. It's an amount that I can afford to lose, although I'm 100% sure I won't be losing it.
The market has been quite irrelevant the past year or so, but I've managed to stay sane and consistent at the same time. It's probably time we should buckle up and get in the driver's seat and I really don't want to do that without having a risky bag of shitcoins in my crypto trunk. What about you?
Have a great Saturday, peeps, and see you next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

I read your article and some things I did not understand well due to problems with the English language. But I seem to understand that you think it's good to have shitcoins as the market goes up. I believe that I will be going to buy some coins defined as shitcoin in the coming months. I like your theory.

Be careful. I just bought a small amount of them. I see them as a risky bet, but one that can make you some really nice money if it goes well.
